Let’s learn from each other! Recently, a fellow RE/MAX Team Leader received an honourable award and although RE/MAX Associates accomplishing amazing things is nothing out of the norm, we wanted to create a learning opportunity out of our networks achievements.

To help learn from the success happening within our network we are beginning a new series called Ask an Expert. This will be our first blog series where we’ll be featuring an expert RE/MAX associate, their tips, tricks, and valuable information.

This month we’re featuring Team Leader, Jason Pilon, of RE/MAX Hallmark Pilon Group Realty Brokerage in Ottawa, who recently received the Business Excellence Award – Realtor of the Year, presented by Orleans Chamber of Commerce and 4 strategies he’s an advocate for. While this month includes 4 helpful strategies you should consider implementing, each month’s focus will vary.

Why Jason Pilon?

  1. Well, for starters, he’s a man of his word. We asked him what advice he would give an agent trying to make their mark in the industry and he said be responsive. To add, he said,

Response time is your way of showing people how important they are.

  1. Reason number 2, Jason is inspirational. Marie-France Lalonde, the MPP of Ottawa-Orleans paid him a recent visit to personally congratulate him on being named the Realtor of the Year which is presented by the Orleans Chamber of Commerce! A member of the public nominated Jason and after the Chamber of Commerce reviewed a more thorough application he filled out based on revenues, community involvement, etc. he was deemed the winner of the Business Excellence Award, proving to exemplify some worthy business accomplishments and level of expertise!
  1. Reason 3, Jason is driven. He’s been a part of the RE/MAX INTEGRA network for just over a year, has sold over 130 units this year alone and has completed more than 2000 transactions with over 700 Million Dollars in volume.
