We are excited to announce that one of our own, Bruce Johnson, has been nominated for the NAR Good Neighbor awards. Being the second Canadian ever nominated, this is a tremendous honour for Bruce and one that is well deserved. The NAR’s Good Neighbor Awardwhich recognizes realtors who are making an impact on their community, has nominated Bruce for his extensive volunteer work and his efforts towards the non-profit SickKids Foundation/Children’s Miracle Network.

After his own personal connection with SickKids Hospital and the efforts of the Children’s Miracle Network, Bruce has dedicated much of his time to being an active volunteer and contributor to the foundation.

In 2018, Bruce and his daughter Holly, kicked off the CMN “Month of Miracles” by embarking on a 28,000 kilometres motorcycle ride across from Northern Canada to South America to raise awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network, deeming the ride “Ends of the Earth Ride”. They continue to embark on these rides every few years, to continue to share their story and encourage RE/MAX agents and brokers to also become avid donors. Bruce and Holly’s efforts have raised over $600,000 in proceeds that were donated to Children’s Miracle Foundation and the Sick Kids Foundation.
