Children’s Miracle Network Spotlight: Ethan, 14

You would never know that Ethan has a lifelong disease with no cure. Only seven years old when he was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease, a chronic inflammatory condition of the intestinal tract, Ethan never lets it change his bright and energetic attitude. Ethan needs IV infusions of medication every eight weeks, and he sees his specialist every four months. While at the hospital, Ethan is always thinking of others before himself, and he makes sure other children feel relaxed they are nervous. Funds raised through Children’s Miracle Network help purchase the specialized equipment essential to diagnose, treat and care for patients with complex conditions like Ethan.
