The giving never stops when you’re a RE/MAX Agent and the influx of support this Month of Miracles (MoM) is pure indication of that. Thank you all for making a point to either volunteer at, host or attend a Month of Miracles event, increase your contribution to the Miracle Home Program and/or plainly just make a social post to help bring more awareness to the incredible things our partner, the Children’s Miracle Network does for children’s health.

We’re entering Week 4 of this year’s Month of Miracles and to help keep the momentum going, we’re sharing our third Miracle Story!

Ava - Cropped and Partial Transparent (1)

When Ava’s mom Selina was only 18 weeks pregnant they found out through an ultrasound that their baby would be born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congentia, a condition in which the joints become permanently fixed in a bent or straightened position. For Ava, this condition is quite severe. The joints of her arms, hands, elbows, wrists, legs, knees and ankles are some of the areas that have been affected, allowing her very limited mobility. Ava is a very determined and strong little girl. Her parents were told that she may never walk, but after four surgeries and with custom orthotics on her feet, Ava decided one day that she wanted to walk. So she did – a day of celebration for Ava, her family, and all that know her.
