On November 19th, we gathered with both new and experienced agents alike for a day of motivation, inspiration and insight — and the response was overwhelming! It was the perfect opportunity to take your business to the next level with tips on building your business and serving your clients from top industry professionals. According to Valerie Garcia, Senior Technology Coach at RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada, 2014 is The Year of Disruption. We believe most people can agree that Real Estate revolves around people and having a successful career revolves around how well you can deliver an experience to those people. Technology is changing this. With new information, apps, and tools emerging daily, the opportunities are endless for you to stay above the crowd and provide your clients with an experience they will never forget. With great tips and insight, Valerie was able to show everyone in the packed audience how they can change The Year of Disruption into The Year of Opportunity.

Richard Robbins kicked off his afternoon presentation with a strong message about giving.  By providing value every day, in all your marketing, in your conversations, in your business delivery, you will receive in the end.  It’s all about what you provide in the beginning without any expectation on what you’ll receive.  Keep that in mind for 2014.

 

Takeaway 3: Peter Mueller – It starts with a Business Plan

Peter Mueller, founder of Strategic Peak Performance Coaching Inc, highlighted the importance of having a business plan. Peter started his presentation with a bold statement, which we couldn’t agree with more: “You don’t go through life without a plan, and neither should your business”. It may seem like just one more thing to do, however establishing a plan for you and your business is pivotal to your success. Together as a group we were lead through the 10 important steps you must go through when developing your business plan.
