What does it mean to be a RE/MAX Agent? Among the many ways to answer this question, there is one answer that is arguably the most important. As a RE/MAX Agent, you have the freedom to be in business for yourself. You know what it takes to grow and run a successful business, and each and every day you challenge yourself. In the 365 days of the year this rings true, there are also days where you have the opportunity to learn, network, and grow with the people who make up the organization that makes all of this possible. Unfortunately, RE/MAX Events are not an every day occurrence, which is why when we do have them we make them count!
Across RE/MAX INTEGRA, North America, we took RE/MAX RE/CHARGE to five different cities including Boston, Toronto, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Indianapolis. On top of learning the latest updates in technology, social media, and so much more, attendees also received regional updates to help stay informed, and idea-inspiring keynote speakers. Below are the top 3 things you missed if you weren’t able to join us at RE/MAX RE/CHARGE:
- Across the five different cities we visited, there were five chances to see seven keynote speakers who all brought something different to the table. In his session, Travis Robertson shared an interesting fact. Did you know that only 10% of real estate professionals control 90% of the industry? That is an eye opening fact, and Travis shared how you can become part of that 10%. Reach out to people in attendance as a networking exercise to see how you can become part of this exclusive group!
- Speaking of Networking, RE/MAX RE/CHARGE provided attendees with countless opportunities to network with like-minded individuals in the region. Whether it was at the fun night before the main day, at RE/CHARGE, or during Travis Robertson’s impromptu neighbour hugging, there were countless opportunities to make new connections and build your network.
- One of the best things about RE/MAX RE/CHARGE was the ability to tailor your day based on the information you want to know. Among the twelve Breakout Sessions were topics like social media, objection handling, team building, networking, and so much more. One of the big takeaways from Alyssa Hellman’s session “Hustle & Flow: How to Be Someone’s First Thought About Real Estate” was to “start with your why, discover your how, and define your what”.
Overall, RE/MAX RE/CHARGE was a day of education and networking that allowed attendees to take away the insight and information they needed to make positive change in their business. They were able to choose the information they wanted to learn, and accepted the challenge of actually implementing it. RE/MAX Events are a valuable asset and allow you to continually learn to help you anticipate changes within the industry that will continue to help you grow your business.
We look forward to seeing you at our next RE/MAX Event!
